Create and activate a domain
Step 2 of 5 in Build trust domains and anchors.
A new domain is DRAFT at version 1 unless the create request sets status. A draft can be attached
but not resolved, which lets you wire consumers ahead of the evidence. Activate by writing the whole
domain with status: ACTIVE and the
version you read; the version comes back incremented. The same write sets the optional validity window.
Send the current strong ETag in If-Match when replacing or deleting the domain.
Disable stops resolution without touching anchors or attachments. Delete is refused while any attachment or eligibility grant still names the domain. Remove it from those first; the consumers list shows which. Deletion then removes the domain with its anchors, admissions, trust sources and catalogs.
