The response carries enabled, exposureMode (PUBLIC or AS_PROTECTED), per-tool overrides in tools (api-catalog, openapi, postman), a read-only displayUrl and revision. AS_PROTECTED requires a signed-in user, including an authorized platform operator. To replace the policy, send the full object with the revision you read; a stale revision returns 412, and the response carries the next revision.
